Wildweave Field Guide
A first look at the world, the people who travel it, and what the alpha lets you try today. The lore below is the opening chapter draft; the world can grow with the people who play it.
A world held together by living threads
Every forest path, tide pool, mountain pass, and creature’s memory is connected by the Wildweave: a living pattern that carries warmth, color, and the sense of belonging from one place to another. Lately, familiar paths have begun to fray. Lanterns dim. Trails end where they should continue. Some places feel strangely far away, even when they are close.
Wayfarers are travelers who can still feel those connections. They gather at Lantern Grove, learn how the threads behave, and help the scattered regions find one another again.
Lantern Grove
An old meeting place built around a vast root arch. Travelers leave small lights here so anyone who has lost the path can find their way back. The grove is the first shared space and the safest place to meet other Wayfarers.
- Look for the ring of lanterns at the center.
- Follow the pale stone path toward the grove’s edge.
- Leave a greeting for another traveler before setting out.
The Fraying
The disruption is not a creature to defeat. It is a growing silence between places: colors fade at the edges, paths lose their memory, and the small signs that help travelers navigate begin to disappear. The first chapter asks why it is spreading and what can restore the connections.
The name and details of this force are still part of the story draft.
Follow the guides
In a world, click or tap the guide's figure, or use the Talk to Guide button below the scene. Your character will walk over, then the guide's text conversation opens beside the scene (or below it on a small screen). You can also focus the scene and press E. If you are typing in chat, click the scene first or use the button. Speak with Elder Rowan in Lantern Grove to begin the First Thread. Visit Mira Mosskeeper in Rootward Forest, Luma Tidekeeper at Glassmere Coast, and Brann of the Ridge in Ember Ridge. Each guide can point you toward the local glowing resource.
Gather one glowmoss, one piece of sea glass, and one ember shard. Then return to Lantern Grove and tend the Crossing Lantern. The world remembers your progress between visits.
Become a Wayfarer
Choose Male, Female, or Non-binary for your character, then select from six detailed, full-body designs, each with all three gender versions. That gives you eighteen premade character looks across human, anthro, and monster forms. Gender is descriptive and does not limit which design you can use. Mossglow and Aster Vale are human travelers; Mosskin and Foxglove are anthro adventurers; Emberhorn and Tideborn are monsters with very different shapes and styles.
Make the character your own with skin, fur, or scale color; hair or crest color; eye color and expression; outfit detail; face markings; horns; and a cloak. You may also upload art for your own character instead of using a premade. Uploads are checked, normalized to a transparent 600 × 600 image, and stay private until an alpha moderator reviews them. Only art for your own character is accepted in this first version.

The current world is an early alpha, not the finished MMORPG. Try the movement and First Thread quest, then share feedback on what should be built next.
Travel kindly
Respect other players, avoid harassment and unwanted contact, protect personal information, use only art you have permission to upload, and do not exploit bugs or disrupt the game. Use block and report when needed. The alpha is invite-only, and the same rules apply to every account.
